Terms & Conditions

The rules for using the MailOps relay, console and APIs.

Last updated: September 24, 2026

1.The service

MailOps is an internal email relay and deliverability platform. It accepts outbound mail via SMTP and HTTP API, routes it across vendors (SendGrid, AWS SES, Scaleway TEM), and ingests delivery events for diagnosis and reporting.

These terms cover the web console, the sending APIs, webhooks and all related tooling. By using the service you accept them on behalf of your organization.

2.Accounts & credentials

Access is granted per operator account and per-app API token. You are responsible for everything that happens under your credentials — keep tokens secret, scope them minimally, and rotate them on suspicion of compromise.

Shared accounts are not permitted; invite teammates with the appropriate role (admin, campaign manager, DevOps, viewer) instead.

3.Acceptable use

You may only send to recipients who have given valid consent or with whom you have an existing relationship covered by applicable law. The following are prohibited:

  • Unsolicited bulk email (spam) and purchased or scraped lists
  • Phishing, malware distribution, or deceptive headers and content
  • Content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes third-party rights
  • Attempting to probe, disrupt, or circumvent rate limits, suppression lists or circuit breakers

Sustained bounce or complaint rates above vendor thresholds may trigger automatic circuit-breaker failover or suspension of the affected stream.

4.Suppression & compliance

Unsubscribes, hard bounces and complaints are added to the global suppression list automatically. You must not attempt to re-send to suppressed addresses; the relay will reject such messages at the API boundary.

5.Availability & liability

The relay targets 99.9% monthly availability with automatic vendor failover, but the service is provided "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted operation. MailOps is not liable for indirect or consequential damages; aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid in the preceding 3 months.

Planned maintenance is announced at least 48 hours in advance on the status page.

6.Termination

Either party may terminate with 30 days notice. We may suspend immediately for abuse, security risk or breach of these terms. On termination, credentials are revoked and message data is retained per the schedule in the Privacy Policy.
